Thorne
The dark beneath the kingdom’s polished lies. Ancient, buried, and starved, Thorne carries the force of something holy turned monstrous by imprisonment and betrayal. He is darkness as pressure, appetite, silence, and memory.
Seraphine
A woman who looked too closely at the machinery beneath its holiness and kept looking. Elegant where Elara is sharpened, Seraphine knows that a truth placed in the right hands can do more damage than a blade.
